We warmly invite you to the INAUGURAL EVENT of the Center for Data Science and Complexity (CDSC).

Under the motto "CONNECTING DISCIPLINES THROUGH SHARED METHODS" the event brings together researchers from a wide range of academic fields who apply, advance or investigate the theoretical foundations of methods from Data Science, AI and Machine Learning, Mathematical Modeling, Scientific Computing, and Complex Systems. Our goal is to showcase methodological interfaces, promote cross-disciplinary exchange and drive forward the development of a vibrant research network within our university.

In addition to top-level KEYNOTES, you can look forward to a large POSTER EXPO & NETWORKING SESSION, offering space for academic discussion, interdisciplinary exchange, and new impulses for collaborative research. The event is aimed at all researchers at the University of Münster – from PhD candidates to full professors – as well as the broader university community.

Come in and find out about the CDSC and its diverse activities in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer, and take the opportunity to connect across disciplinary boundaries!

Details on the program can be found on our website: https://www.uni-muenster.de/CDSC/events/kick_off/index.html.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Prof. Dr. Uwe Thiele (Board Spokesman)

Dr. Oliver Kamps (Managing Director and Scientific Coordinator)

Dr. Katrin Schmietendorf (Scientific Coordinator)
