Location:
The Meet-up will mainly take place in the castle (Schlossplatz 2, 48149 Münster) and some of the seminars will as well take place next door (Schlossplatz 4). Events taking place in other locations will be pointed out by us but don't worry, all events will take place in central places that are good to reach.
Travel
By Train: Arrival at Central Station Münster (Westf) Hauptbahnhof, 48143 Münster
You can buy the Deutschland Ticket for 49 Euros which allows you to travel freely with regional trains and buses in whole Germany. Every Train listed below "by airplane" can be used and you can take every bus in Münster. This ticket can be used for a whole month. You can buy it here. But watch out, since it is a monthly subscription so you need to cancel the subscription.
By airplane: Three options
1) Arrival at Airport Dortmund, from there take the train RE7 from Station Holzwickede to Central Station: Münster (Westf) Hauptbahnhof
2) Arrival at Münster Osnabrück International Airport (FMO) from there take the Busline S50 from Station Greven FMO to Central Station: Münster (Westf) Hauptbahnhof
3) Arrival at Airport Düsseldorf, from there take SkyTrain from your arrival gate to D-Flughafen Bf from there take the train RE2 to Central Station: Münster (Westf) Hauptbahnhof
By Car (individually)
Transportation in Münster:
Bus ticket: If you don’t need/have the Deutschland Ticket you can buy the 9am Day ticket for Münster. You can drive every Bus in Münster with no time limitation at the Weekend. Ticket can be bought with the münster:app or inside the Bus for 5 Euros more.
Bike: Everything is reachable with the bike and Münster is known for the bike friendly design. You can rent a bike in front of the central train Station at Radstation Münster Hbf for 3 Days (Friday to Sunday) for 23 Euros. No worries, the Radstation Münster Hbf has open on Sundays.
Electric scooter: In Münster E-scooters are found nearly in every street. You can rent them with your phone. Therefore, you will need the corresponding app of the manufacturer (Tier/Bolt/Volt). We recommend the Bolt app, since there the rent is the cheapest. But overall, this is still the most expensive method regarding Bike or Bus.
