  Book Studies)\n\nThis international knowledge exchange workshop – gener
 ously funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeins
 chaft\, DFG) – will bring together researchers working on literary agent
 s from across Europe and North America. Co-organized by the University of 
 Münster (Professor Corinna Norrick-Rühl)\, University of Aix-en-Provence
  (Professor Cécile Cottenet) and University of Pavia (Dr. Anna Ferrando) 
 and hosted by the DLA Marbach\, the event is open to the public. Two event
 s will be of special public interest: a book talk by Professor Laura McGra
 th\, who has just published Middlemen. Literary Agents and the Making of A
 merican Fiction with Princeton University Press\, and a behind-the-scenes 
 conversation with one of Germany’s leading literary agents\, Karin Graf 
 (Agentur Graf & Graf\, Berlin). \nOther discussants and presenters include
  Professors Daniela La Penna and Nicola Wilson (University of Reading)\, P
 rofessor Alexander Nebrig (University of Düsseldorf)\, and Professor Laur
 ence Cossu-Beaumont (University Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris)\, who has coined 
 the term “agent studies” to circumscribe this burgeoning interdiscipli
