Annual Meeting of the NFDI Consortium of Mathematics

MaRDI Annual Meeting 2026 in Münster

The MaRDI Annual Meeting 2026 will take place in Münster from 11 to 13 November 2026. The meeting is planned as a noon-to-noon event, starting on Wednesday around midday and ending on Friday around midday. It is addressed to members of MaRDI and to invited guests from neighbouring scientific and infrastructure communities.

The meeting will focus on the further development of MaRDI, the scientific and infrastructural orientation of the next project phase, and the exchange between the Task Areas. It will combine reports on central MaRDI activities with strategic discussions on future cooperation, cross-consortium links, and the next steps for joint work within MaRDI.

The programme is planned as a combination of plenary contributions, thematic talks, and internal working sessions. Contributions will address central MaRDI topics, the evolving MaRDI structure, and interfaces with related NFDI consortia and scientific communities. The aim is not only to present current results, but also to support discussion on how MaRDI will organise its scientific and infrastructural work in the coming phase.

On Thursday, a strategic meeting of the Co-PIs is planned. In parallel, the other participants will meet in working sessions related to the new MaRDI Task Area structure. The results of these parallel sessions will be collected and brought back to the full group. On Friday, a joint closing session is planned to report back from the Co-PI meeting and the Task Area sessions, and to record open points for the further work.

Accommodation will be organised and paid for centrally. Hotel rooms for all participants will be booked at the Franz Hitze Haus in Münster,close to the venue, so individual hotel bookings are not necessary. If you do not need a room, please drop us a short note. Further organisational information, including registration and the required overnight stays, will be collected via the meeting page and the registration process.
