2nd Reproducibility Games Münster
Corrensstraße 2, 48149 Münster
Institute of Applied Physics
Join us for the second Münster Reproducibility Games – a one-day event run by the Center for Data Science and Complexity and the Münster Center for Open Science, and dedicated to reproducing and replicating papers from top-tier academic journals.
Replication is an essential part of the scientific process, as it verifies the robustness and reliability of published findings. By participating, you will not only help strengthen research integrity but also expand your network and sharpen your coding and research skills. Participants will write reports that they can then submit to one of multiple innovative, scholarly-led open access journals.
Why Attend?
• Form a small team of 3-5 researchers and reproduce/replicate a published study. You will be matched based on research interests and a study will be assigned to your team. Graduate students will work closely with more experienced researchers, ensuring that everyone benefits from shared expertise.
• Connect with fellow researchers from the University of Münster and beyond.
• Refine your coding skills and data management techniques.
• With participants’ permission, completed reproductions/replications will be published on the MüCOS Zenodo Community. Participants will author reproducibility reports that they can submit to a high-quality replication journal.
Which research disciplines will be represented?
This year, participants will reproduce or replicate studies from the following disciplines:
- Digital Humanities
- Physics
- Political Science
- Psychology
