Erasure Poetry Workshop

Erasure poetry or blackout poetry, is, according to the Poetry Foundation, "a poetic form in which a poet blacks out or in some way erases words from a preexisting source to create new poems." During this workshop, participants will learn about and create their own erasure poems. 

Materials and texts will be provided. Participants may also bring in their own text to work with. If bringing in your own text, a scanned copy from an original source is best.
